Terms and Conditions

If you are not satisfied with your software purchase, McAfee Protection has a 30 day from date of purchase refund policy.

To initiate a refund request for your software order please contact McAfee Protection Support. Once we have received your request, a Letter of Destruction (LOD) document will be emailed to you. You must print, complete, and sign our LOD and fax it back to us. The date automatically stamped on the faxed LOD will be the basis for meeting the 30-day refund requirement.

Please note that shipping and handling charges on backup CDs are non-refundable.

Auto-Renewal with McAfee Always on Protection

The Details

Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the then-current price for the service, which excludes promotional and discount pricing. Within sixty (60) days of an automatic renewal, upon request, customers may cancel the service and receive a full refund

Credit Card: Based on the customer's agreement to have his/her subscription to a McAfee service automatically renewed, McAfee will charge the credit card number provided by the customer to McAfee, provided such credit card is still valid. In the event the customer has provided McAfee with more than one credit card number, only one credit card will be charged.

Renewal Date: A paid subscription to a McAfee service will be automatically renewed 30 days prior to its expiration date and an email confirming the transaction would be sent to the customer.

Because your auto renewal contract is with McAfee they will be billing you upon your renewal. Should you wish to cancel your auto renewal, please see the McAfee Automatic Renewal guideline below:

Disputed Charge Policy

Credit card charge disputes are costly for merchants, and will not be tolerated by McAfee Protection. Customers seeking refunds or assistance are required to contact McAfee Protection. Customers who fail to contact us before disputing a charge with their credit card company will be billed for all fees and costs associated with resolving their disputed charge. McAfee Protection reserves the right to take any action required to collect these charges, including turning the bill over to a collection agency.

If You Opt For A Monthly Subscription

When you purchase McAfee software as a monthly subscription you will be charged once a month at your subscription rate. These monthly subscription charges are not refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancelations prior to one year will incur an early termination fee of $39.99.

Annual Renewal Policy with Winferno Software

Automatic Renewal with Winferno Software: Before the subscription for your Winferno software expires, Winferno Software will use the credit card information on file to automatically renew your subscription. Your card will be charged the current subscription rate at the time of renewal. You can turn off Automatic Renewal from your account page (immediately accessible after placing your order or any time from the home page). You may also turn off this feature by calling our customer support during normal business hours.
